イエスキリストがエルサレムに入ってくるときに、群衆が棕櫚の枝を振って大歓迎したから、と言われています。When Jesus comed into Jerusalem, he was welcomed by the large crowd waving palm branches.

ですから、この日は、「棕櫚主日」とも呼ばれます
So this day is also called "Palm Sunday"

人々は、尊敬していたけれども、ねたんでいる人もいました。
The most of the people respected Jesus, but there were some people are jealous.

人々は、歓迎したけれども、歓迎しない人もいました。
People welcomed Jesus, but some people did not welcome.
Pessoas eram bem-vindas a Jesus, mas algumas pessoas não eram bem-vindos.
一人の人の心の中でも、その二つがありました
Even in the mind of one person, there were two.

歓迎するけれども、迷惑な存在でもありました
Though someone welcomed Jesus, but he seems also a nuisance.
Embora alguém acolheu Jesus, mas ele também parece problema.
尊敬するけれども、従えないところもありました
Though someone respected Jesus, but there are some reason that he won't follow Jesus.
Alguém apesar de respeitar Jesus, mas há alguma razão que ele não vai seguir a Jesus.
イエスキリストは、あまりに正しく、素晴らしい教えをし、活躍したからです。
Jesus was so right a person, and told great teaching, and he was excellent.
Jesus foi uma pessoa tão boa, e disse grande ensinamento, e Ele foi excelente.
立派な指導者が現れたから、自分の立場が危なくなると、うれしくない人もいました。
There were some leaders who were not happy because Jesus was a great leader and he would be dangerous position to min.

And He died on the cross, forgiving others, teaching the importance of loving to the end.

それを見るときに、私たちは反省させられます。
When we look at it, we will repent.

Why I wonder if there is no love in me.

十字架を見るたびに、そのことを思い出します。
Every time we see the cross, we remember that.

そして、こんな自分を赦してくれたイエス様のことを思って、自分も少しは人を赦したり、愛したりできるようになります。
And with thinking that Jesus forgave me this one, our heart will be moved to forgive someone and love someone.
E com o pensamento de que Jesus me perdoou, nosso coração será transferido para perdoar e amar alguém.
それが、洗礼を受けて、新しく生まれ変わることです。
That means and that would happen when we are baptized and are reborn.
